$4 per isopod

How many1

No set pack size. A new colony usually does better with several animals than with one.

Habitat

Yellow Zebra is a striped display isopod kept with a roller-style gradient: damp moss, a larger drier side, soil, and bark. Do not use a duckie setup just because the animal is yellow. Stripes show best when the shell is clean.

Diet

Leaf litter, wood, and calcium. Protein is occasional. Yellow food will not repaint the stripes.

Breeding

Moderate, closer to a zebra Armadillidium than to a powder. Some young are weakly marked. No brood size is on file.

A good fit

A striped display colony for a keeper who can run a gradient. A gentler pretty isopod than a high-end Cubaris, still not a no-care culture.
