$6 per isopod

How many1

No set pack size. A new colony usually does better with several animals than with one.

Habitat

Rubber Ducky is the yellow-faced Cubaris. High humidity, a broad damp moss area, a smaller drier retreat, hiding bark, and temperatures that stay out of the 80s°F. The famous face shrinks into a stressed, dull animal when the bin dries.

Diet

Leaf litter and rotten wood are the staple. Calcium is always there. Protein is a pinch, not a meal plan. Duckies are often overfed by people who want to see them.

Breeding

Slow, and a project you start with more than a pair. This shop does not publish a brood count, and a number from a forum is not this colony's record.

A good fit

A flagship display isopod for a keeper who already holds humidity steady. One of the worse first colonies, despite how often it is the one people want.
