Mermaid Pearls

Listed under this shop name. A species note has not been added yet.

$3 per isopod

How many1

No set pack size. A new colony usually does better with several animals than with one.

Open a label for the note on this listing. Brood counts are not taken from a census of these bins.

Habitat

Mermaid Pearls is a pale display line kept humid, with moss, fine leaf litter, and a drier edge. Pale shells show both dryness and grime, so the wet side should be damp, not muddy.

Diet

Leaves and rotten wood, a calcium source, and very small extras. Do not feed pearl-colored foods for any reason.

Breeding

Treat pearls as a slower display project. Some young may be less pale. No brood number is recorded.

A good fit

A soft-colored display animal for a keeper with a humid bin already running.
