Florida Orange is treated here as an orange armadillo-type isopod, closer to a hardy roller than a cave Cubaris. Use a moisture gradient, soil, leaves, and bark. They can handle a drier room than a duckie if the moss pocket stays damp.
Leaves and rotting wood, calcium, and an occasional vegetable scrap. Protein is optional and should be small.
Armadillo-type oranges are usually steadier than they are explosive. Do not import a brood statistic from another shop.
A colorful roller for a keeper who wants orange without tropical-Cubaris humidity. Fine as an early colony if the wet side is actually maintained.
The price is for one isopod. Choose a count, then pay at checkout. Stripe test mode accepts 4242 4242 4242 4242 and does not charge a real card.
