$8 per isopod

How many1

No set pack size. A new colony usually does better with several animals than with one.

Habitat

Flavomarginatus is kept as a humid, yellow-edged display isopod. Moss over most of the bin, a less-wet hide, and ventilation that does not dry the moss overnight. The yellow edge is easiest to see when the shell is not coated in mud.

Diet

Leaf litter first, calcium always, and a rare pinch of protein or soft vegetable. They are not a protein-hungry laevis.

Breeding

Expect a display pace. A number of mancae per brood is not on file here.

A good fit

A look-at-me Cubaris-type colony for a keeper who will check the moss. Not the isopod to learn moisture on.
