Big Pine Key is a humid Cubaris-type display isopod. Keep most of the bin damp with moss or moist soil, leave a smaller less-wet corner, and give steady ventilation so the air is not stale. Low-to-mid 70s°F is the usual keeper range. This shop has not logged a measured target for the bin.
Hardwood leaves and rotting wood should stay on the floor. Offer a calcium source, and only a small bit of vegetable or protein. Yellowed leftovers mean the next feeding should be smaller.
This line is usually slower than a Dairy Cow or a powder isopod. A brood count is not recorded for this colony, so do not copy a number from another seller.
A patient display colony for someone who already keeps a humid bin steady. A poor first isopod if the wet side still swings from soaked to bone dry.
The price is for one isopod. Choose a count, then pay at checkout. Stripe test mode accepts 4242 4242 4242 4242 and does not charge a real card.
